I am not quite sure why the right selvedge is somewhat messy while the other selvedge is very neat. I am pretty sure it has to do with carrying the yarn.

How important is centering the warp? It is OK to split patterns in the middle?

I've come into possession of 36" floor loom with a sectional warp beam. I've not done sectional warping and do not plan to do so at this time. How would I go about warping in this case?
