A lot goes in to planning a weaving project: designing (or choosing) a draft, finding the right yarn, trying out colors, sampling for sett, and selecting a finish.

When it comes to that last point, you might decide that a simple hem isn’t what you have in mind. To finish your project with a little something extra, you may be considering a fringe—but rather than launching right into winding a warp, it’s a good idea to first figure out what your fringe will look.
