Susan Du Bois, Anita Osterhaug, and Charlotte Updike worked together to create the Knotty Macramé scarf for the May/June 2017 edition of Handwoven. It’s a beautiful color-and-weave silk scarf designed by Susan, woven by Charlotte, and then finished by Anita with a fancy macramé fringe. We didn’t have space in the magazine to show all of the process pictures Anita provided, nor her instructions for tying a square knot. Check out these more robust instructions available as a free download and get knotting. This finish would look great on all kinds of projects!
